Sushi Contest - Not for the Weak at Heart

sushi_project.jpgYou have to admit that there are times when you go to your local sushi restaurant and think, "wouldn't this taste better if there was a little [fill in the blank] added?" Whether your 'fill in the blank' is Veggemate (for Aussies), peanut butter (for North Americans), kimchi (for our Korean friends), now is your chance to make your own "world's best sushi" by adding your local flavour of choice to this typically Japanese delicacy!

We are looking for really unique and fun sushi to show off the diverse cultures of iCommoners from all corners of the world. The best part is that professional sushi chefs will recreate the winning sushi recipes and designs for everyone to eat at the Mayor's Reception.

For more details about the contest and to download the application form, please visit the Sushi Project site. The deadline (May 16th) is approaching quickly. So, don't delay.

There are tons of possible combinations, but if you need a little inspiration, take a look at these amazing recipes (warning...if you are hungry, you might experience a sudden case of drooling):

Check out this video too (once you have finished submitting your sushi recipe to us...wink, wink!)
