The iSummit '08 began with a bash at the Okurayama Ski Jump, hosted by the City of Sapporo. See pictures of the jump and highlights from the event in this photo story.

This is the view of the Okurayama Ski jump. First built in 1931 by Baron Kishichiro Okura, the jump was upgraded in 1972 when Sapporo hosted the Winter Olympics.

iSummit attendees gathered at the foot of the jump to watch ski jumpers display their skills. The jump has become a popular venue for locals and tourists alike, and offers a spectacular view of the city of Sapporo.

Chikara Inoue, Director General of the City of Sapporo welcomed the attendees to the iSummit.

The crowd was enthralled by an energetic team of drummers. The energy and the fast tempo of the drummers was amazing.

FREE BEER was served at the event. The beer was specially brewed for the iSummit by the local Canadian Breweries.

The Deputy Mayor encouraged everyone to shout 'Kampai' as he toasted along with the crowd.
