Each year, in preparation for the iSummit, iCommons creates the iCommons Annual, a collection of articles, interviews, reviews and other writings that inform and compliment the Summit.

This year, because the iSummit was being held in Japan, we decided to integrate elements of Japanese origami into the Annual, in order to create a publication that fuses beautiful design and outstanding content. Many thanks must go to Infiltrate Media, for their beautiful and thoughtful design. 

The result was the iCommons Annual 2008, which serves as a guide to the iSummit, a document for readers to learn more about the people, issues and ideas of the iSummit. The Annual also challenges readers' ideas of what a publication looks like, and how they interact with it.

The iCommons Annual 2008 is licensed under an Attribution 3.0 license, which means you are free to copy, share, distribute and remix any part of the Annual.
